Comforter drying tip: Do not use dryer sheets or fabric softener when washing a goose down comforter because they can leave a sticky residue on the down and might cause it to become clumpy.
If your down comforter is used with a duvet cover, you likely will not need top sheets, blankets, or bedspreads.
When you change your sheets, just remove the duvet cover (which fits on your comforter like a giant pillowcase) and toss it in the wash.

If your wool mattress cover is protected by your sheets, it will require little cleaning.
