Full Comforter

The full size traditional comforter is a deep quilted comforter sized to drape over the edges of the mattress.
Down comforters are typically available in twin, full, queen and king sizes.
When you first open your comforter from the factory, it will take a few days to expand to its full capacity.
The standard size for twin comforters is 63 inches by 86 inches, and for full, 86 by 86.
Baffles allow the down in your comforter to assume its fullest loft.
Comforters larger than full size usually require an extra large washing machine, like those available at laundry mats.
A comforter cover is less bulky to handle than a full-size bedspread.
Wash your comforter as few times as possible to retain its full insulation value.
Buying a good quality king size comforter is practical and you can't beat the soft feel and full appearance.
Buy a duvet cover or comforter cover that is one or two inches larger than your comforter (manufactuers have already accounted for this, so if you have a full size comforter buy a full sized duvet cover, the same for a Queen or King comforter).
Boxed: This classic pattern keeps down and heat from shifting with rows of stitched boxes, the bigger squares allow down to loft fully for warmer comfort (smaller squares offer moderate warmth).
If you take a comforter out of the dryer before it is fully dried, the fill can mildew.
