Polyester Comforter

One downside to polyester comforters is that they are non-biodegradable.
Several man-made materials, including rayon, polyester, and nylon, are meant to simulate the look, feel and properties of silk but all fall short in one aspect or another.
Unlike down, which can be tricky to launder, synthetic polyester-filled comforters are easier to wash and a lower maintenance solution for beds with kids.
Many comforter covers are made from either 100 percent pure cotton or 50 percent cotton/50 percent polyester percale.
Bed comforters are typically from polyester, cotton, or a blend of other fabrics.
